Insulated Duct Armor™, Answered

Is Insulated Duct Armor™ in every package?

It is our highest recommendation, because it fixes the most common cause we find. It goes in when the findings call for it, and we say so when they don’t.

Does it replace my ducts?

No. It keeps the ducts you have and protects them like new ones. Only runs that have already failed are replaced, then protected the same way.

Can it go on damaged ducts?

Not until they are fixed. Stage 2 and 3 sections are repaired or replaced first, because sealing a torn liner only locks the failure in place.

How is it different from Aeroseal?

Aeroseal seals from inside the duct, verified by test, and adds no insulation. We use it where foam can’t reach. Insulated Duct Armor™ seals from outside and insulates and protects the run in the same step.

How long does it last?

It is built for a 30+ year lifespan, and the work is covered by our 20-year labor workmanship warranty.

Will it help with dust?

Usually, yes. Return-side leaks pull attic dust into the system and send it to every room. Sealing them is the first step of source control, sized from the leakage and air quality readings in your assessment.
